The purpose of Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep is 2 fold:
- to induce relaxation by rotating awareness thru the different parts of the body
- to clear all the nerve pathways to the brain
In other words, we relax the mind, by relaxing the body.
The purpose of Meditation is to reconnect and remember our true self.
